System 2000: Panasonic Avionics Corporation entered the full-cabin IFE systems market in 1992 with System 2000, the first IFE system designed to provide in-seat audio and video to each passenger on board an aircraft. System 2000 offers a broadcast-type system with up to 12 channels, similar to a multi-channel cable TV.
System 2000E, a significant evolution over System 2000, was launched in 1995. System 2000E allows passengers to interact with their IFE system, choosing from a wide array of interactive entertainment, games, and telephone communication options, with up to 24 channels of video and 96 channels of high fidelity audio. |

Interactive Software Engineering offers the very latest top-quality programming content including interactive and multi-player games, news and information uplinks from CNN, Reuters, NewsEdge, and offline interactive content from some of the hottest websites around including USATODAY.com, Hollywood.com and ZDNetAsia.com. |
