| Panasonic Avionics Corporation To Supply Aeroflot with
eX2 on A330 Aircraft |
| Lake Forest, California - April 30, 2008 |
Aeroflot, one of the world’s oldest and largest airline in
Russia serving 96 cities in 49 countries, selects Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic) to supply
eX2 on ten (10) A330 aircraft with anticipated deliveries starting in 2008.
Panasonic eX2 provides digital in-flight entertainment (IFE) system to the airline. This flexible IFE system
delivers a personalized in-flight experience featuring full in-seat video on demand with a standard-based
design that allows airlines to integrate many Panasonic applications.
“Aeroflot keeps investing in service enhancement. In particular, we emphasize the state-of-the-art efficient
in-flight entertainment solutions. In this relation Panasonic eX2 is the best choice,” said Alexey Sidorov,
Commercial Director at Aeroflot.
"We are proud of our longstanding relationship with Aeroflot,” said Paul Margis, Chief Executive Officer at
Panasonic Avionics Corporation. “We are excited that they have again chosen Panasonic for their in-flight
entertainment solution. This endorsement further cements Panasonic’s position as the leader in field of in-flight entertainment."
In addition to eX2, Panasonic also supplies MPES to Aeroflot for its A320 aircraft. MPES is an audio and
video in-flight entertainment system for narrow body aircraft. Its state-of-the-art technology provides more
flexibility and performance, resulting in an all-in-one connectivity to today’s hottest digital entertainment
sources. |
