Panasonic Avionics Selected by Continental Airlines to Supply IFE for
Boeing 787 Aircraft

-In-Flight Entertainment System to Enhance Passenger Experience
Lake Forest, California - September 25, 2007

Panasonic Avionics Corporation (Panasonic), a leading global provider of in-flight entertainment (IFE) and communications systems, today announced Continental Airlines selected Panasonic to supply its eX2 system for Continental’s 787aircraft.

Continental has 25 Boeing 787 aircraft on order with the first aircraft expected to deliver in 2009.  Panasonic’s eX2 system developed for the Boeing 787 will be installed on these aircrafts. The 787 eX2 system will closely match Continental’s 777-200ER aircraft that delivered earlier this year. Continental is retrofitting the eX2 on its existing 777-200ER fleet and will have a total of 20 777-200ER aircraft in service with the eX2 system by mid 2009.
