MAS Opens New Facility in Toulouse
January 10, 2002
Toulouse, France – MAS (Matsushita Avionics Systems Corporation), the world’s leading supplier of in-flight entertainment systems, has increased its presence in Toulouse, France with the opening of a newly constructed facility.  According to Olivier Mettery, Director-OEM Support for Toulouse, "expanding into this new facility will enable the MAS Toulouse team to better support European OEM and retrofit activities."

Construction of the new facility began in June 2001 and was completed on November 30, allowing MAS to take occupancy in early December.  While its design reflects the architectural style of other MAS facilities around the globe, its exterior presents the local flavour of "La Ville Rose" (the rose red city) by incorporating Toulouse’s famous "Brique Rose" into the facade.

Functions located in the company’s new premises will include engineering liaison, product marketing, customer services, delivery logistics, retrofit support and installation support, providing a full-service team to meet the needs of European OEM and airline customers.

The new facility, pictured here, can be found at:

7, Avenue Henri Guillaumet
31770 Colomiers, France
