| Alan Pellegrini Joins MAS Executive Team |

Named Senior Vice President, Marketing and Operations
Bothell, WA, USA – In a bold move to further strengthen its robust executive team, MAS (Matsushita Avionics Systems Corporation) has announced the hiring of Alan Pellegrini as its Senior Vice President in charge of Marketing and Operations. Mr. Pellegrini will join MAS on August 27. He will be based in the company’s Lake Forest, California office.
Mr. Pellegrini comes to MAS from Tenzing Communications, where he served as President and Chief Operating Officer. Under his overall leadership, Tenzing grew quickly and matured into a high-profile company in the avionics business, with a focus on bringing airborne e-mail and Internet connectivity to the global business traveler. Prior to joining Tenzing in April 2000, Mr. Pellegrini served as Vice President, Marketing and Sales, for Rockwell Collins’ Air Transport Market Segment. He led the launch of several new products including live satellite TV and video-on-demand.

Mr. Pellegrini graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Mathematics. He earned his Master of Science degree in Engineering (with honors) from California State University-Northridge in 1987, and his MBA (with honors) from the University of Southern California in 1992.In his new position with MAS, Mr. Pellegrini will report to the president. He assumes senior executive responsibility for the company’s marketing, product support, and operations sectors. |
