Connelly Named General Manager, Americas Region
Bothell, WA, USA - As part of its broad strategy to maximize responsiveness to regional customers, Matsushita Avionics Systems Corporation (MAS) has announced the hiring of Mr. Gene Connelly as its General Manager, Americas Region. Mr. Connelly joined MAS on 4th November.
Mr. Connelly comes to MAS following several years of executive-level experience in the In-Flight Enter-tainment industry with companies such as Rockwell Collins, Passenger Networks LLC, and InTheAirNet, LLC. As Rockwell Collins Passenger Systems’ Senior Director-Program Management in North America, he maintained program responsibility for several key accounts. In 2000 he joined Passenger Networks as its Vice President of Operations, a role he continued most recently with InTheAirNet.
Mr. Connelly graduated from the University of Florida in 1983 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Systems Engineering. He earned his Masters Degree in Business Administration from Pepperdine University in 1990.
In his new position with MAS, Mr. Connelly will report to Alan Pellegrini, Senior Vice President, Marketing and Operations. According to Mr. Pellegrini, "Gene has a long and successful track record in this business and has built solid relationships with many of our key customers in the region. I am confident that Gene will effectively lead our Americas Region." |
